Primary School Workshops
I feel that it is critically important to educate children to the danger of hidden sugars in our day to day food and drink, to help them to make healthier choices and to reduce the risk of them developing health issues as they get older.
My ‘sugar’ workshop lasts around 45/50 minutes per class of 20/30 year 3/4/5/6 pupils, and is interesting as well as educational. I believe that children learn best when they are invested in the education process, and to that end my workshops involve a lot of interaction with them to assist them assimilate the information presented and help them to be able to use it in their day to day lives.
At present, I am able to offer this service free of charge to Primary Schools in Kent – all I ask for in return is some feedback in the form of a testimonial from the school, and comments on the workshop from some of the pupils.
